My Domains Were Stolen Out Of My Hosting Account
I don’t know how they did it but they stole 28 of my domain names out of one of my Godaddy accounts without me knowing about it. I did a whois check and found a person in Romainia had taken control of these domains. This is very strange as I had no pre warning fron godaddy, apart from 3 emails stating they had carried out my request to transfer 3 domain names.
Now everything is back under my control and all passwords have been changed. If it can happen to me, it can happen to you. Keep passwords safe.
Regards
Martin

Just make sure you have an anti virus software that is updated and don’t click to links on emails that looks interesting.. It is my first time @ this blog, I really enjoyed your articles, great work
Thanks for your comments, I am very careful but don’t know how they gained access to my control panel without my permission. Now have changed all account passwords
Well these guys can monitor your PC by a Trojan and they can easily get your serials, passwords and more… Therefore you really have to be careful with your PC, make sure to have an updated virus software and don’t click links on spams…
Caution and a good anti-virus software are the only shields you possess against such filching.
An anti-virus software that keeps itself up-to-date in terms of the malware around is also difficult to find.
I use Mcaffee but I don’t understand how they were able to transfer my domains without the hosting company alerting me.
I have since sold a domain name to another person and I had to fill in a form and the hosting company sent me a confirmation email. I don’t know why this didn’t happen when the person took my domain names?
